Style. We here at Authentics are all about that. But, like many of the fashion-friendly, we don’t get style confused with trendiness. We know living and looking well doesn’t have much to do with the fashion flavor of the month.
Often, people buy counterfeits because they want to be in vogue. Maybe you look at your fav celeb and think you deserve a certain bag or watch as much as so-and-so. Well, you’re right, you totally deserve it. BUT, that sorta falls in the copycat fashion sector, and we’re not so pro.
Have you ever opened a magazine and seen some great “Break-the-Bank” item, and its cheapie knockoff? We’d like to turn that idea on its head.
Our STYLE bLog is about being real. Buying real things because they’re lovely and not because they have letters emblazoned all over them, or they reference some more expensive thing we’d rather have.
The stylish appreciate ingenuity--at any price point. Sometimes our blog will be all gungo-ho about an expensive scarf we’ll have to save up for (but that will last longer). Other times, we’ll get excited about a keychain found on a fair-trade website.
But at all times, we’ll keep it real.
And that’s the chicest thing of all.
